Elizabeth Stewart

Piano Instructor

Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Instrumental Music Education from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music with piano as her major instrument and clarinet as her secondary instrument. After graduation, she was employed as a full-time music teacher in the public schools for twelve years, teaching instrumental and vocal music. Elizabeth earned her Master of Arts degree in ChoralMusic Education from Eastern Michigan University.

Elizabeth played piano and keyboard in the pit orchestras for several local and regional Broadway productions, also serving as rehearsal pianist, and/or music director. She annually serves as a piano accompanist for the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association’s Solo and Ensemble Festivals at the district and state levels, and continues to play piano at a variety of local and regional events.
