International Night

The last International Night was Friday, December 7, 2007. Meadow Montessori families come from diverse backgrounds, and our community is truly an international one; we encourage one another to share their differences.  There are other members of the community that may never have been to a different continent but have discovered ethnic diversity in this country; they are invited also.

On International Night, each classroom takes on the culture of a continent (with the exception of North America and Antarctica) and the following classrooms "adopted" the following continents and countries this year:

  • Senior Room - Asia
  • Intermediate East - Africa
  • Intermediate West - Europe
  • Junior East - Australia
  • Junior West - South America
  • High School - British Isles

The following are pictures from the event.
