Our altar (or "ofrenda") was the combined efforts of the high school and middle school students. They made the decorations, came up with some of the design elements and (most importantly) brought in keepsakes and photographs of the deceased loved ones whose lives they wished to celebrate.

The art gallery will be displaying the altars until 11/19 and the cost is free!

An emotionally moving and beautiful ofrenda. Our "tree" is a fallen branch that we collected right from our own backyard! We used it in the design to symbolize that our school is connected with our environment and surroundings.
