FACULTY
Noemie Marciano-Kinzel

Noemie Marciano-Kinzel was born in Paris, France, 29 years ago. She attended l' Universite Paris 12 and obtained her BA, major in languages and civilizations, specializing in English. She is currently studying "teaching French as a second language" through a French University online.

At the end of her first year of teacher training (she wanted to become an English teacher in France), she heard of that "student exchange program" in any English-speaking country. She chose the USA (why? ask her). There she was launched: to improve her English and to teach French in a language school for adults in Maine!

Voila! The big adventure had started. It was supposed to last 10 months...but...the unexpected knocked at the door.   She opened.   It was Aaron, who would become her husband.   Who would have thought she would leave country, family, dogs, friends, free health system, free education system, good food...? not her. But she did it.   C'est la vie! What you do for love...

Aaron and Noemie moved to Michigan in March 2007 to join Aaron's family. La vie est une immense aventure...

Noemie is fascinated by human sciences (anthropology, ethnology, philosophy, psychology, linguistics, but also neuro-biology). No wonder why teaching is such a great pleasure for her. She is definitely thrilled to have been given the chance to teach at a Montessori School.

Noemie also enjoys a lot theater (plays), cinema, writing, reading, music. She has a big passion for animals, especially dogs.
