Lisa Long

Lisa is back at MMS! After a two-year hiatus she is back at beloved Meadow Montessori-- in yet another program!!

She began her Meadow association in 1989 with the enrollment of her eldest child Emily (now 22 and pursuing a musical theater career in New York City). By the time her sons Dylan and Wesley (20 and 17 respectively; and students at CMU and Monroe High) were enrolled it just made sense to accept a position as assistant in Preschool West.

Three years later, Lisa compled Montessori Infant/Toddler Certification and re-established Meadow's Toddler Program.

In 1999, Lisa moved back into the assistant roll; this time at the Junior Elementary level.

In 2004-2005 she returned as Toddler Directress for what was to be her last year at MMS.

Lisa and husband Bill are natives of New York State. They spent six years touring the east coast while Bill served and received nuclear training in the Navy. He is a technical trainer at Fermi.

Lisa has spent most of her free time for the past seventeen years supporting the many athletic and artistic endeavors of her three children and husband. She also enjoys gardening, yoga, calligraphy, volleyball, and is an art, music and theater appreciator.
