Lisa Abraham

Lisa Abraham has been employed with Meadow Montessori since 1997. She is the Directress of Children's House East, working alongside Lorna Ansel and Tatiana Howard.

Lisa received her Montessori certification from Adrian Dominican Montessori Teacher Education Institute in Adrian MI. She did her internship at Grosse Ile Montessori Day School where she continued to work for five years. Lisa then took a year off from teaching to be with her family before coming to Meadow Montessori.

Lisa received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Madonna University in Emergency Medical Management. She worked as a Paramedic for two years at McCloth Steel until the birth of her twins. When her twins were three years old, Lisa decided that a career change was in order. She answered an ad for an Assistant Teacher at Grosse Ile Montessori Day School, which started her journey and love for the Montessori philosophy.

Lisa is married to Jim and together they have six children. All but one of the children were fortunate to start their informative years with Montessori. Lisa can be contacted through email at yoursmineandours@netzero.net.
