Denise joined MMS in August 2007 as an intern. She is currently taking Montessori training at Adrian Dominican Montessori Teacher Education Institute in Adrian, Michigan. She is working with Dawn Weatherholt in Children's House North.

For several years Denise has loved working with children, as a religious education teacher at her church and as a Girl Scout leader. She and her husband Dave have two children, and the youngest is a student at Meadow.

Denise loves spending time with her family, the outdoors, gardening and her pets. She is also active as president of the Friends of the Library in Petersburg.
