FACULTY
Catherine Hart

Catherine Hart attended Bates College in Maine where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She spent several years in Indiana before moving to Michigan and has lived in Monroe for the past five years.

Cat first joined the MMS community in 2001 as a parent searching for a toddler program. She joined the faculty in 2003 and has worked in the ETC and High School programs. She currently assists Ms. Meg in the Intermediate East classroom. Cat's teaching interests are in math, language, and "information consumerism," helping children learn to navigate through the potentially overwhelming amount of information available to find what they need.

Cat and her husband Aaron have four children, all of whom have their own place at MMS. Elaine and Lauren are in the lower elementary program, and twins Carolyn and Audrey are in the toddler program.

Cat Hart can be reached by e-mail at cathart@meadowmontessori.org.
